Modern and Contemporary Art Museum - May 2011

At Castello di Masnago the month of Maj 2011 will be rich of appointments! There will be 3 events thought for adults and for children.
The first appointment will be on Sunday, 8 Maj 2011 at 3.00pm: "Blue of lapis lazuli and dragon blood".
A guided visit and a workshop thought for children from 5 years old to 11 years old, a travel to discover the birth of colors. Children will create a paint by using natural products that we can easily find in our houses.
Lenght: 90 minutes.
Costs: 6€ guided visit and creative workshop +1€ reduced ticket (child) + 3€ reduced ticket (adult). The booking is necessary within 7 Maj 2011.

Saturday, 14 Maj 2011 the day will be dedicated to adults. At 3.30 pm will take place the guided visit "From Magatti to Baj, the art in Varese through the works at Castello di Masnago".
It will be a guided visit to discover the works in the Museum, in particular the artist's works that made big the pictorial tradition of Varese during the centuries.
The visit will be 60 minutes long.
Costs: 5€ guided visit + 3€ reduced ticket. The booking is necessary within 13 May 2011.

Another event thought for children will take place on Sunday, 22 May 2011 at 3.00 pm: " A funnel as hat!"
A guided visit and a workshop for children between 5 years old and 11 years old that will be focused on Enrico Baj' s works, especially on the materials that he used to create them.
Children, during the workshop, will create a totem.
Lenght: 90 minutes.
Costs: 6€ guided visit and creative workshop + 1€ reduced ticket (children) + 3€ reduced ticket (adult).
